Talya joined Civic Legal LLP as an Articled Student after completing her LL.M.(CL) at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. Prior to obtaining her master’s degree, Talya graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Law in Israel. During law school, Talya volunteered with the Israel Anti-Poverty Association, where she provided legal advice to low-income clients, and taught academic writing and legal research to junior law students.

Before relocating to Canada, Talya practiced as a lawyer for over 3 years and gained extensive experience in civil litigation, including medical malpractice.

Outside of the office, Talya enjoys spending time with her family and friends, designing bespoke cakes, and jogging.

Kelsey Stuckert

Kelsey joined Civic Legal LLP as an Articled Student after completing her Juris Doctor at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. During her time at law school, Kelsey was the Social Justice and Public Interest Representative for the Allard Law Student Society Careers Committee. She also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada as a student researcher for the Canadian Mental Health Association and completed the Indigenous Community Legal Clinic.

Prior to attending law school, Kelsey completed a Bachelor of Arts in the Faculty of Communication, Art and Technology at Simon Fraser University, specializing in political communication. Outside the office, Kelsey enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring local hot springs.
